I contract with major and independent publishers, including HarperCollins, Scholastic, Graywolf Press, and others, to copyedit, proofread, and fact-check fiction and nonfiction books. 

My training includes a certificate in copyediting from the University of California and a bachelor's degree in history from California State University. 

I live in Minnesota, where the publishers are strong, the writers are good-looking, and all the copyeditors are above average. I have a Norwegian buhund dog named Winnie who keeps me company while I work. His training includes a certificate of completion from puppy kindergarten.
